Mavera Episode 4 Review

In Mavera Episode 4, Ahmad says goodbye to the nomads and comes to the lodge. Mervan tells Ahmad that he cannot go in. Ahmad says that Mervan could not do such a thing. Mervan says there is no place for Ahmad in this lodge. Soldiers arriving at the lodge take action to attack Ahmad. Ahmad says that he will not fight the caliph’s soldiers. The priest of the church encourages the people to revolt and that Baghdad will now be controlled by the Christian soldiers. Saltuk reports immediately what happened in the church. Atif is happy with what happened in the dervish lodge and says that he will now work to make Baghdad better.

The nomad man Ahmad helped with before learns about what happened to Khwaja. Tarik and a few merchants go to Ahmad’s shop and tell him they are sorry about what happened in the lodge. Ahmad then starts talking about the situation in the Sazlik neighborhood and says that the people there are very hungry. Ahmad says he wants to collect aid from the tradesmen and set up a soup kitchen there. Traders say that after the recent events in the market nobody would help with something like this. Tarik goes to the church that night and says that Ahmad wants to set up a soup kitchen.

Atif learns that Asife is going where the nomads are and tells his soldiers to watch her. Meanwhile, Asife comes to the plain and asks where Khwaja is. Asife says she knows Ahmad is a good person and gives gifts to the nomads. Dai examines the map of the palace and asks if there is a secret entrance there. Atif gives detailed information to Dai about the palace. Crusaders give Dubeys powder barrels and ask him to give these barrels to the Christians in Baghdad. Ahmad says he will find a new job to build the soup kitchen and starts working in a quarry.

A soldier of Atif helps them enter the city. Dubeys’ soldiers take the barrels secretly to the church. The priest thanks them and prepares to send them elsewhere. Dubeys then meets with Dai and tells him what they did. Dai says that the caliph will be defeated before the war, and Leyla hears them talking. Dubeys wants to spend some time at Leyla’s house and have fun, but Dai warns him. Ahmad gives all the money he earned to Mansur and asks him to count. Ahmad talks about the reasons why Hamadani sent them to Baghdad and says that they will start doing better things.
